BusyCal 2 App Reviews

Useful & Powerful

1. Great ability to synchronize multiple platform callendars including google/icloud/microsoft 2. Synchronize i going smooth & easy, as far with no errors when i sync entered data on enother devices (both ways). 3. Ability to filter calendars, gives customizable view for anything i need at the moment (diffrent callendars for work, home, & others) 4. Fast working app so it is not makeing any trouble during workflow. In other words, it manage to save lots of my time greatly. Good job & thanks a lot for developers.

splendid!

works like a charm - where Outlook fails and iCal doesn’t deliver; I have a number of calendars on google, icloud and exchange servers, I share some of them with my family, I use Tasks and reminders and this app - BusyCal - is the only one that does everything I require; love it plus: when stumbled on a tech issue, the support team replied quickly, specifically to my request and what’s most important - it really help; didn’t have to go through support forums etc; this is worth another 5 stars! keep it up, busycal team!

Great Calendar!

The best calendar Ive ever tried! Very convenient, nice design. Weather graphic is great! Waiting for IPhone and IPad version

Great App, business ready

With Calendar on MLion I had a lot of problems syncing my company iPhone and Mac ( Google mail and calendar). Everything works like a charm with BusyCal, definetively worth the money.

Not so good

I was an happy user of the old BusyCal (last version was 1.6.4), so (to show my support to the developer) I bought the new BusyCal 2. DAMN ME!!!! The new version do not allow you to sync your iphone via ITunes. You are obly to use iCloud or GoogleCalendar. But it creates problems (for example the use of Google Calendar sync, inhibits the possibility to attach file to BusyCal events). So Im obly to uninstall BusyCal 2 and continue to use the old version (1.6.4)

This Calendar does what it says

I can’t say I have run into any bugs with this calendar. It seems to do exactly what is promised. Easy to set up appointmets.

Outstanding

One of the very best features (and there are many) is the ability to share calendars between my wife’s BusyCal & mine. Any events my wife adds to her calendars automatically show up on mine and any I add on mine show up on hers. Before I make appointments, I can see if she has any at the same time. This feature is extremely useful so we don’t schedule two events at the same time. They also keep updating and adding and improving BusyCal. Keep up the great work.

Way more Fantastic than any other

Short and to the point… BusyCal works, works well, every time. I think it’s aesthetically better than any other app. However, it is the fact that it disappears from your thoughts that makes it a winner. It’s there, and it’s working, and you don’t have to do workarounds and hope. If you want that, there’s another popular app that you might be a Fan of. Busycal is awesome.

Icloud syncing not working today yet iphone and yosemite iCal connects just fine

Icloud syncing not working today yet iphone and yosemite iCal connects just fine, so this is definitely a BusyCal issue. Comes up with a server error. There is no two step verification or app verification set on my icloud ID. Beware of this interrupting your workflow. It’s a pain when i live by my calendar. FIX IT NOW!

great app - needs a few SMALL finishing touches

I use an enterprise google account. I’d love if they could integrate better with the google GAL (autocomplete when i’m adding attendees). I think the UI on the attendee availability screen could be better. Its a popup window now that is a little annoying to have to move/close every time. It doesn’t seem to update well when it is open and i add/change attendees. Other than that - I FULLY RECOMMEND IT. If you like outlook, you will feel at home here.

What happened?

been using this app since getting my MacBook in 2011. This app has gone through a few revisions in that time and with each revision just keeps getting better all the time. It is my main go to calendar now. Now that El Capitan is out the app no longer works, even after this latest update that was supposed to make it work. Not happy, this was main calendar app I used. Not any longer.

A few glitches - but the best I’ve found

I really like the app - the color-coding, etc. It’s very easy to input events, and more flexible for my purposes than other calendars i’ve used. However, I think it was a bit pricey considering one major flaw: when a calendar request is “sent” to me - I cannot alter the color coding, which is driving me crazy. Seems like an easy fix. So fix it. I would also like to see if there is a “print week” function b/c that would be tremendously helpful for my family.

My go to calendar app

I have been using this app for years and recommend it to my clients. It is vastly superior to the default app and support from the developers is absolutely top notch. The addition of filters to version 2 gave me the features that I need to run my consulting business.

BusyCal 2

BusyCal 2 has been a very stable calendar app. It has a number of features that are not available in the Apple calendar. Being able to do custom repeats is the one feature I use a lot. The ability to use 24 hour time and tags are also features that work well and I use. The sync function seems to work very well with us. We each have 3 calendars and the program syncs them very nicely.

Fantastic application

This is a great alternative to the Apple Calender program. The custom layouts for printing and viewing are fantastic. True integration with my iCloud account. Highly recommend!

Best Calendar App I have used to date.

Easily to add events on the fly, syncs flawlessly across all my devices and custom features to let you create the calendar setup that suites your peronal needs/style. Highly recommend.

Everything Apple Calendar Left Out

I originally got BusyCal because Apple Calendar was having trouble syncing with all my different calendar servers. Since then Apple has fixed the Calendar bugs, but I stuck with BusyCal. It has a cleaner UI, and adds all the little features and configuration options that Calendar is missing. Plus, there is real support if you have a problem. In El Capitan some of the animations were disabled, which I hope gets re-added in the future. Worth it!

BusyCal2 + BusyCntacts + Apple Sync = Great CRM

After trying the native Apple apps, Outlook for Mac and Salesforce, I have finally found a CRM platform that meets my needs. I maintain several Exchange and iCloud calendars. I need to organize thousands of contacts, build calling plans and record our interactions. This history must be readily available and logically structured. The combination of these two apps is fully meeting my needs. The synchronization with the native Apple apps has thus far been error free. Highly recommend this platform.

Fantastic

Best calendar app ever! Does it get any better than this? I doubt it!
