A better way to Calendar

My needs are simple - I sync calendar with iCioud between my Mac and iPhone. While Apples Calendar does this fine, I appreciate the enhancements of
BusyCal. I prefer its (much more flexible!) notification window over Apple Calendars limited implementation through Notification Center (particularly the
"Snooze" function). Custom fonts, pics and weather forecasts right in the calendar are welcome touches.

Inputting event dates and times feels smoother than Apple Calendar.
Developer keeps on top of things - little glitches in 2.5 (event entry and custom color-related) were fixed in 2.5.1 before I even got around to bringing them to their attention. Kudos.

A minor criticism (for those minding their batteries): BusyCal caused my MacBook Pro to switch from integrated video to the more power-hungry discrete video when it did its animated transition from one month to another.
UPDATE: My minor quibble was fixed by I unchecking the "Animate transitions" option under BusyCal > Preferences... > Appearance tab.
