A relief…..
The divorce of Calendar and Reminders is probably one of the worst moves Apple has made. Neither app is really very good - too many limitations - but splitting two roles that should be inextricably linked was dumb beyond belief.
But I am truly grateful to Apple for doing it - without me being so frustrated by the illogical and pointless split, I would never have tried BusyCal, and never have realized just how bad Calendar (and Reminders) had become.
No, BusyCal is not perfect- a couple of minor UI eccentricities that are a bit maddening (use of tab/arrow keys in dates, non-intuitive implementation of reminder). But it is SO much better than the native Apple apps.
